Dominating dance floors and winning hearts across the globe for well over fifteen years, German trance duo Cosmic Gate are back with a brand new album that will have you falling in love with the sound all over again. The trance legends are back to deliver another a round of perfectly formulated music that delivers a beautiful and uplifting 85 minutes of euphoria.

Following on from their hugely successful LP Wake Your Mind [2011], Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems really encompass the full spectrum of trance music on Start To Feel. Whether you fancy more modern elements such as big drops and lush vocals or classic elements such as rolling basslines and thick uplifting chords, this new album has a taste for every trance lover. Each track presents something unique and different, showing there were virtually no boundaries when composing the album.

Start to Feel takes one on a spiritual journey from start to finish. The uplifting Cosmic Gate side is evident at first listen in the quite suitably titled ‘Happyness,’ the euphoric ‘Falling Back’ with Eric Lumiere on vocals and ‘Alone’ featuring Kristina Antuna.

While a few tracks on this album appear to have a pop culture element, tracks such as ‘Telefunken,’ ‘Yai,’ ‘Crushed’ and ‘No One Can Touch You Now’ featuring Mike Schmid lend themselves to a more progressive setting with an ease on big builds and drops and instead focusing on more of the classic trance elements such as thick pads, rolling basslines, subtle plucks and sound effects.

Standout track ‘Fair Game’ with Orjan Nilsen is definately a festival dominating track. The iconic melody, up-roaring builds and overall flow highlights the perfect blend of years of trance coming together to produce something truly unique.

Painting vivid pictures fueled by emotion and pure raw energy, this album is from start to finish an eighteen track trance dreamland. Keep an eye out for Cosmic Gate because this album is worth seeing performed live.
