5 Vegas Clubs You Need To Attend
With more and more people heading to Las Vegas to experience an over-the-top holiday escape, OZ EDM has compiled a list of the clubs you should visit during your stay.
These days, what happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay in Vegas. With large numbers of west-coast residents heading to Vegas for wild weekends, the rise in international guests is quickly on the incline too.
This could be the fact that the majority of EDM superstars have residencies in the big clubs Las Vegas has to offer. This is evident as soon as you enter the terminal with billboards and local cabs advertising what DJ is player where.
The booming market of EDM has opened up a lot of doors for hotels and casinos in Las Vegas with every venue wanting to host a nightclub that features these superstars.
So if you are thinking of heading to Las Vegas and aren’t quite sure of what clubs to hit, then look no further than the list below as we have assembled what could be described as the ‘Vegas nightclub bucket-list’.
Address: 3131 S Las Vegas Blvd
XS Nightclub is located at Encore. One of the two towers of the Wynn Hotel and by Wynn, yes we mean the luxurious hotel built by and named after Steve Wynn. As you would expect for a nightclub located in such a hotel, it is very luxury. Everything from the dim lighting, chandeliers, very strict dress code and bottle service make this the most stylish and upper-class club on the strip.
Whether you are there for a couple of drinks or a willing to spend US $150,000 on a bottle of champagne through bottle service, XS provides a great night out no matter what your budget or night of the week it is. The 2014 boast a large range of genres from Diplo and Skirllex, Zedd, Deadmau5, Lil Jon, Red Foo, Will Sparks, Avicii, RL Grime and much more.
Address: 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd
Hakkasan nightclub is based inside the MGM Grand hotel and hosts the best of the best when it comes to EDM. 2014’s roster includes names such as popular hit-makers Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Afrojack and Nervo, trance legends Above & Beyond, W&W and more.
Address: 3950 Las Vegas Blvd
LIGHT nightclub, presented by Cirque du Soleil is located at the Southern end of the strip at the Mandalay Bay hotel. Catering to a trendy crowd, the club opens on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Like XS, LIGHT caters to a range of EDM genres by hosting artists such as Carl Cox, Alesso, A-Trak, Baauer, Axwell, Krewella, Stafford Brothers and Thomas Gold to name a few.
Tickets are reasonably priced (some clubs can charge high prices for certain acts) with males starting at $35 and females starting at $25. No matter how long intend to stay in Vegas, make sure you catch at least one night at LIGHT.
Address: 3708 S Las Vegas Blvd
Marquee hosts some of the biggest EDM acts Las Vegas has to offer, particularly in the trance and progressive house genres. Located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, the club is smack bang in the middle of the strip and not only features a very classy nightclub but a day-club too.
The day parties at Maruee’s pool have definately put the club on the map as it may as well have a bikini dress code, which caters to Vegas’ weather perfectly. In 2014, the club has secured a large roster of EDM legends including Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade, Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, ATB, Chuckie and Sander Van Doorn to rattle off a few names.
Drai’s Las Vegas
