The Eatons Hill Hotel New Year’s Day 2017 Foam Party will be bigger and better than ever with a national and international line up including in alphabetical order AC Slater, AJC, Arcane Echo, Benibee, Brooklyn, Dimes, Enschway, Lady Lilith, LDRU, Tigerlily, Timmy Trumpet, Tyron Hapi and Will Sparks.

There is nowhere to hide on the first day of the year when the New Year’s Day Foam Party reaches epic proportions offering one monster stage complete with foam cannons and pyrotechnics, a Bass in the Ballroom second stage and collectively the biggest line up to grace the festival’s stage, ever.

One featuring artist, WILL SPARKS is excited to be a part of the first release artist announcement and says it is an event not to be missed. “This New Year’s Day, Eatons Hill Hotel is where I’ll be! It’ll be rude not to” said Sparks.

The King of Heavy Bass House in America, AC SLATER has begun a lengthy career for himself with his “Night Bass” sound by fusing elements of house music with the dirty basslines of UK garage and sprinkles of old-school rave synths and breaks. AC has toured the globe several times and his tunes have been played at every major festival and club in the world by DJs including Skrillex, Diplo and so many more.

Trailblazing since the dawn of his career, there are not many artists who can claim the hype and early success that AJC is gaining at a rapid rate. From humble beginnings taking out first place in the prized wildcard position of Australia’s Your Shot competition in 2014 to also taking out first place in the World Electronic Music Competition (WEMC) 2015, there seems to be nothing that can slow this wunderkind down. Gracing stages anywhere from Paradise Club in Mykonos, Sky Garden in Bali, Pacha Nightclub in Sydney to Stereosonic Festival in Brisbane, his memorable and energetic sets split him apart from the herd.

When ARCANE ECHO stepped onto the scene, he brought with him a superb ability to deliver blistering bass music. Taking to electronic music with a vengeance, his definition devours the sound spectrum, with an infamous disregard for musical trends. With a solid laser beam vision for cracking the mediocre, Arcane Echo brings him with him unique classical and multi-instrumental training and the resurgence of a thick arsenal of ground-breaking music.

UK born and Australian bred BENIBEE arrives to each set armed with an impressive arsenal of talents as a DJ, artist, performer, remixer and producer. His solid background in music forms imposing foundations of a multifaceted performer. Behind the decks, the Benibee signature sound is beautifully arranged with shades of big room, progressive and electro house music.

With her distinctive girly street swag style, BROOKLYN has claimed every major dance floor across the country from Platinum Nightclub on the Gold Coast down to Marquee and Pacha in Sydney, Billboards in Melbourne and everywhere in between. Her stellar performance has also taken her across the Pacific Ocean to the biggest venues on the Asian continent in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam to date.

An all-out, no bars hold DJ and Production duo, DIMES create powerful and diverse music within the bass music scene. With punching basslines and eclectic rhythms, the Brisbane based duo are one to be heard and seen. Drawing inspiration from some of the biggest names in the industry, like What So Not, RL Grime, Bauuer and more, these two have a bright future ahead of them.

ENSCHWAY has been named Australia’s answer to RL Grime with his high-energy tracks that pack a big dose of bass, a punch of synth and a hit of melody. With backing by Triple J, 2017 is going to be a monster year for ENSCHWAY.

LADY LILITH is a force to be reckoned with already making waves in the Brisbane Bass scene, this girl is one to watch and will be dropping some of the freshest tunes 2017 has heard on the Bass in the Ballroom stage.

LDRU, electronic music legend best knowing for his monster hits Keeping Score and Next To You. Having played at Splendour In The Grass this year, LDRU are at home on International stages all around the World.

TIGERLILY has fast become a hero in her home town of Sydney and one of the hottest commodities in the Australian dance music scene, recently voted the #12 DJ in the country in Australia’s renowned ITM top 50 DJ Poll for 2013. The recognition of Tigerliy’s supreme talent from industry leaders has led to residencies at some of the most renowned events and venues in the country including Pacha, The World Bar & Soho in Sydney and Red Square in Adelaide as well as gracing the stage at Australia’s major festivals.

Multi-Platinum selling artist and Australia’s #1 DJ, TIMMY TRUMPET is taking the world by storm. Timmy Trumpet, Australian house DJ and producer has played on some of the biggest stages in the World in Ibiza and America and has supported and played alongside acts like Armin Van Buuren, Carl Coz, Fedde Le Grand, Dizzee Rascal, Fatboy Slim and the Stafford Brothers. Timmy Trumpet has successfully transitioned from the international stage as an acclaimed jazz musician to the realm of global dance music where he plays live trumpet solos over electronic dance music tracks during DJs shows.

TYRON HAPI is making his mark as one of the best up-and-coming electronic dance producers Australia has to offer. Tyron’s growing discography of epic originals, remixes and collaborations have been released on some of Australia’s best known labels including Club Cartel Records, Define Music, and Look Alive Recordings.

At 22 years young, WILL SPARKS has cemented his position at the forefront of the globally loved Melbourne sound. Countless original productions have spent weeks inside the Beatport top 10 in addition to signature remixes of global hits such as Major Lazer’s ‘Be Together’, Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ and The Chainsmokers’ ‘Selfie’. In Australia he was voted ‘Breakthrough Artist Of The Year’ only to be named the #1 DJ in Australia just 12 months later – fast forward a few years and Sparks has been listed as #78 in the DJ MAG ‘Global Top 100 DJs’. Hardwell, the renowned electronic music icon, makes a triumphant return with his latest track, ‘Anybody Out There.’ Following his world-beating tour and the highly acclaimed album REBELS NEVER DIE, Hardwell continues to push boundaries by combining his edgier production style from the album with a more vocal-driven sound. In Hardwell’s own words, “Although my new sound is much harder-edged and techier, I still love the beauty of vocal-based electronic music. Every genre, from house music and trance to electro and techno, has given the dancefloor magical moments through big vocal tracks. That feeling a big vocal song has on a festival crowd is hard to describe, but when that moment comes, it’s intoxicating.” The collaboration with AZTECK was a natural choice for Hardwell, given their previous work together. Recognized for his exceptional production skills and keen ear for captivating toplines, AZTECK’s recent successful releases attest to his talent. Hardwell shares his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Azteck and I have known each other for a while, having previously worked together on music. As his recent run of form proves, he’s a great producer with a fantastic ear for a topline. So, I knew a big vocal collab with Azteck would be a fire release for the summer. But the track needed a specific type of voice to make it work, and the unique raspy quality of Alex’s voice made her the perfect fit for the distorted topline on ‘Anybody Out There’.” ‘Anybody Out There’ holds a special significance for Hardwell as it represents his desire to infuse his new style into a vocal-driven anthem that combines various elements of his sound to create a captivating hybrid track. Reflecting on the process, he explains, “This track is special to me because I’d been longing to repurpose my new style into a vocal-driven anthem that blended other elements of my sound to create a sort of hybrid track. It needed the right emotion in the track, the right chords, and perfect balance in arrangement to fit the current sound.” With its fusion of cutting-edge electronic music and infectious vocals, ‘Anybody Out There’ promises an unparalleled audio experience that pushes the boundaries of live performance. Hardwell’s creative vision, combined with the talents of AZTECK and Alex Hepburn, guarantees an unforgettable musical journey for listeners. ‘Anybody Out There’ signifies Hardwell’s evolution as an artist, showcasing his willingness to experiment and explore new sonic territories while staying true to his core essence.
