    • “Without You” Sees Kill The Noise & Seven Lions Reunite For Massive New Single kill-the-noise-seven-lions-without-you-oz-edm-feature

US dance music headliners Kill The Noise and Seven Lions reunite on “Without You”, the third lead single off Kill The Noise’s first album in 6 years, ‘EMBRACE’. This is the power duo’s third collaboration after releasing “Horizon” in 2018 with Tritonal and HALIENE and the dubstep-psytrance fan favorite “The Blood” in 2019. Singer Julia Ross, who’s achieved two Billboard #1 records as a co-writer for BTS, provides the perfect vocal performance over the groovy, driving house beat that switches to a huge melodic festival Ophelia Records 2021 banger in the second act. “Without You” continues the string of high performing collabs between the two producers and blends the best of their sound design, styles and melodic sensibility for another unforgettable, genre-blending track. The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ, Kill the Noise, was born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined utopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward driven electronic releases (Roots, Kill Kill Kill, Black Magic, Occult Classic), and charismatic live shows (Coachella, EDC Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of the leading acts in dance music — getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, Deadmau5, AWOLNATION and Skrillex — and as 2020 unfolds, he’ll be unveiling even more material. Producer Seven Lions has never had a problem breaking rules and transcending musical boundaries to satisfy his creative vision. Catching his break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca Records, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records, and Monstercat over the past eight years. After years of floating around from labels, Seven Lions compiled his own label in 2018 called Ophelia Records. Since its emergence, the melodic bass label has made its imprint being voted the Best Label of 2019 by r/edm, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers across the country. His productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (New York and Las Vegas), Electric Forest, Electric Zoo, South by Southwest, and HARD.

Australian heavy hitting melodic producer Blanke is back with his second lead EP single “Lights Out”. Blanke provides blissful production with larger than life synth-fueled drops while dance music singer RUNN delivers loving vocals noting beauty in those who may appear to be broken. His ‘Land of the Wayfarer’ EP is his first on Ophelia after a string of high profile collabs and single releases in 2021 including Dancing Astronaut’s track of the year “One More Day” with Jason Ross and his collab with Seven Lions and Trivecta, “Wild And Broken”. In just 3 years, JP Orchison has taken the Blanke project from his native Australia to the World. Named Break Out Artist on Subreddit R/EDM’s best of 2019 & inking a deal with United Talent Agency, Blanke (in his first year of North American Touring) was booked to play on festivals like Paradiso, Global Dance, Hard Summer, Dancefestopia & EDC Las Vegas, was a regular on lineups for Brands like Deadbeats and Brownies & Lemonade and was selected as a support act for Illenium’s massive ‘Ascend’ Arena Tour in mid-late 2019 before kicking off 2020 with a 40+ date tour across North America as main support for Black Tiger Sex Machine. Blanke showed no signs of slowing down throughout the lockdown. Official Remixes landed for Slander Seven Lions and Zeds Dead & Subtronics & his single ‘Alchemy’ hit the #1 most played position on triple j Radio. In January this year he was named to EDM.com’s Class of 2021, and was one of the first acts to announce a post lockdown National tour in his native Australia. Returning to North America in July 2021, Blanke has just announced a string of dates including EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Electric Zoo New York, Ophelia’s Pantheon Tour and main support for Sullivan King’s Loud and Reckless Tour. The singer/songwriter and vocal producer RUNN’s extremely honest lyrics are a validation to all those who feel unsupported with their vulnerable feelings, as well as an inspiration to finding the light. RUNN’s ability to capture sincere visceral emotions and perform at the highest level has led her to be one of the most sought after vocalists having worked with top-tier talent like Illenium, Steve Aoki, Seven Lions, Dabin and many more. RUNN has had the opportunity to perform for her fans at esteemed venues like Red Rocks, The Shrine, The Roxy and Academy LA.

After a whirlwind fourteen years in the dance music industry, famed Festival Trap founder Carnage has announced his retirement at the age of 31. Carnage’s groundbreaking work in the early 2010s helped usher in a new genre called “festival trap,” a thunderous, 808-heavy twist on the saturated electro music that dominated festivals at the time. Buoyed by a thriving SoundCloud community, festival trap quickly became a movement—and Carnage was its vanguard. While dance music was his primary focus, Carnage’s brushstroke painted a far more colorful mosaic in the music community. He operated as a prolific hip-hop producer, collaborating with a myriad of the world’s top rappers, such as Mac Miller, Migos, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug and Meek Mill, among many others. • Moss Has Heart-Melting Bass On ‘Speed Dial’ In Latest Release With BRIA moss-speed-dial-oz-edm-feature-2021

Australia’s rising star Moss returns with a heavy-hitting follow up to ‘SABRE TEETH’, releasing ‘SPEED DIAL (feat. BRIA)’ via October Records. After making a splash with his triple j Unearthed DIY Supergroup winning track, Moss picks up where ‘SABRE TEETH (feat. Genesis Owusu)’ left off, introducing the single with subtle didgeridoo vibrations before the foot is pressed down on the sonic gas pedal. The Indigenous producer’s aptitude for utilising dynamic drums and powerful bass to evoke atmospheric and emotive narratives is on full display. He teams with Brisbane-based up-and-coming singer/songwriter BRIA who’s pertinent vocals centred around the uncertainty and instability of online dating, provide the perfect hook. Moss discusses the single and the direction of his sound saying, “I’ve teamed up on this record with powerhouse singer/ songwriter BRIA and we’ve built something very special. SPEED DIAL is the sonic infusion of the ups and downs of online dating – especially when they don’t text back. This single represents a development of my sound and I can’t wait for you to hear it. All gas, no brakes.” On the narrative behind the record, BRIA said, “The idea for SPEED DIAL came out of the 2020 Brisbane COVID lockdown. After everyone was exclusively online dating, I found hookup culture was more present than ever. Moss’ dramatic production was the perfect accompaniment for my narrator’s situationship.” Brisbane talent BRIA, who amassed a sizable online following across TikTok and Instagram, recently released her debut single ‘Taking It Off’. The track has seen airplay on triple j and acclaim from Declan Byrne, Tommy Faith, Abby Butler, and Dave Ruby Howe on triple j Unearthed. Embracing femininity and sensuality within her craft, she takes influences from the likes of Charli XCX, Lorde, and Caroline Polachek. Sydney-based producer, Moss rose to prominence earlier this year after taking out the triple j Unearthed DIY Supergroup competition, with his release ‘SABRE TEETH’, before announcing his signing to October Records. Sampling the likes of Alison Wonderland, Touch Sensitive, San Cisco, Vallis Alps, and Genesis Owusu, the latter of which jumped on as a feature artist, Moss crafted a very Australian moment, yet it was his iconic didgeridoo bass drop that impressed triple j presenters and listeners alike. The track went on to become one of the most played on the station, with Moss appearing on triple j’s Friday Mix, and Mix Up as part of NAIDOC week, while the single’s momentum carried it to the top of the Australian Shazam Chart. While ‘SABRE TEETH’ showcased Moss’ talent to a wider audience, the bass producer has been honing his craft with singles such as ‘From The Start’ and ‘Shimmer’ both of which premiered on triple j and rose the triple j Unearthed Electronic charts. Having already played alongside some of the heaviest hitters in the industry – Skrillex, RL Grime, Flosstradamus, Marshmello, just to name a few – Moss has positioned himself as a producer capable of rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s best.

Genesis Owusu)’ and announces his signing to October Records. Moss elevates the defiant raps of Genesis Owusu, leaning into his Indigenous heritage for a dramatic production that finds its home on October Records. On the response to ‘SABRE TEETH’, Moss said, “The response to SABRE TEETH so far has been mind blowing. From the triple j text line to Instagram comments, everyone has shown such love for the track. Genesis Owusu’s vocals hit with such a powerful message and I wanted to connect that with my Indigenous heritage. I’m so glad everyone who’s listening is also connecting with that too.” Moss has combined his flair for emotive production and his passion for storytelling with the release of ‘SABRE TEETH’’, which received critical acclaim among many in the industry. triple j Breakfast presenter Ebony Boadu said, “This is easily the sickest drop I’ve heard this year.” While the upload on Unearthed received high praise from the likes of Lucy Smith, Dave Ruby Howe, Declan Byrne, and many more. The track has quickly become one of the most played on the station, while also receiving online support from the likes of NME and The Music Network. Definitely our bounciest record to date – which fits perfectly in the Dichotomy of the album, we wanted to explore both ends of the spectrum and you can’t have the darker stuff without the fun and playful records. Nicole also was incredible on this one, we went back and forth on so many amazing versions of the song but we felt like we nailed the one that made the final recording!”  Speaking on the opportunity to finally collaborate, Nicole shares “The boys and I have been friends for years and I’ve always been a big fan of their music. I had written a rough idea in LA a while ago and it had just been sitting on my laptop. It’s a move that sees them come full-circle, in a similar dynamic to their recent set at Belgium’s Rampage festival in March, the groundbreaking show which brought their beloved ‘Butterfly Effect’ to tens of thousands. “Take It Away” is the brand new single from Max and Katie, with Max sitting in the production booth and Katie lending her award-winning vocal prowess to the mix. Featuring the same depth which is notable within the entirety of Koven’s catalog, it’s heartbreak hidden in the high-energy drums, recounting what it’s like to let go of a relationship for fear of the void that follows. It takes its listener once more into their emotive landscapes which many have become familiar with. Something which is apparent at Koven’s shows, when Katie takes the mic and inspires crowds to follow their lyrics word for word. Adding to the record’s epicness, it also features the ‘Parallax Orchestra’, the same group behind the Eminem and Clean Bandit shows at Wembley Arena, as well as Bring Me The Horizon and Architects UK #1 albums. A fact adding to its musicality and already the pairs impressive profile. Max shares, “We started the EP at Middle Farm Studios in July 2021 and “Take It Away” was actually the first track we wrote, so it made sense to start here with the releases too. We then got a knock on the door of the studio and it was my old music theory tutor who was in recording with another band. He’s been doing all the string arrangements for Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, and others, so the strings you can hear on this record were arranged by him and recorded by the Parallax Orchestra!” Katie adds, “I’m so excited for this to be our first single back after not releasing anything since last year. I think it’s something quite different for us but really special. It’s such a pretty track, it’s heartbreaking but also hopeful. I hope people connect with it the way we have.” The softly spoken intro carried through by Katie, with its orchestral undertones, draws you into the record’s intense energy as the record kicks into play. It’s one more certified mainstage anthem from Koven, as the summer season begins. With a stacked list of headline shows and festival dates forthcoming for Koven, EDC (USA), Love Saves The Day (UK), Tomorrowland (BE), as well as a full package of music in the pipeline, the duo are staying true to what made them stand out, with their success a testament to their authenticity. 2022 is a new chapter for Koven, but they’re still following the same explosive ascent.
