Markus Schulz Remembers Mother With New track “Ave Maria”

After the passing of his mother back in February, iconic trance producer Markus Schulz has turned to music to celebrate her life and memories in his new single “Ave Maria”.

A song originally composed by Franz Schubert as part of his Opus 52, “Ave Maria” has also musical superstars like Andrea Bocelli and Beyonce flex their vocal cords on the incredible song. Now in 2019, Markus Schulz has brought the iconic track into the realm of electronic dance music with the help of rising star and vocalist Haliene.

Debuted by Schulz for the first time at Ultra Miami 2019 during his ASOT performance, Armada label head Armin van Buuren quickly caught attention and ultimately “Ave Maria” would be signed to Armind for the world to enjoy. In addition, the track was also featured on the A State Of Trance Ibiza 2019 compilation, securing its rightful spot as one of the most beloved tracks that the industry will ever know.

The release on Armind will include an extended mix, a festival mix and a special acoustic mix. “Ave Maria” is out now on Beatport and all streaming platforms, listen below!
