Melbourne’s LRMEO Drops Debut Single ‘Make Me A Liar’

Emerging out of Melbourne, Australia, 24-year-old producer, DJ and songwriter LRMEO (pronounced ler-me-o), is on the cusp of a new musical journey. Combing uplifting, melodic production with pop-inspired vocals, LRMEO has crafted a sound that is made for dancing.

With his debut single ‘Make Me A Liar’ having just dropped on Hussle Recordings, LRMEO (aka Alex LiRosi) is ready to embark on his latest musical adventure. “This track is a combination of my many inspirations of dance music. I combined a more melodic, emotional breakdown, with a hard-hitting drop, allowing the track to still work in a club scene.”

LRMEO was surrounded by music from a young age. “I pretty much grew up playing music with my Dad being in a band when I was a kid. I got my first guitar at the age of two and began playing that until I was about 15 when I swapped it for a laptop and began producing music. I now play the piano, guitar and a little bit of bass too.”

LRMEO fell in love with dance music after being influenced by his brothers and cousins, and collected Ministry of Sound compilations which he played on repeat. LRMEO now takes inspiration from the likes of Martin Garrix and fellow Hussle label mates Loud Luxury. With this new chapter just beginning, LRMEO’s journey is one to watch. ‘Make Me A Liar’ is out now on Beatport and all streaming platforms, get your first listen below!
