Ministry of Sound Presents Testament 2023: A Nationwide Tour Showcasing Iconic Warehouse Experiences
Prepare to embark on an extraordinary journey as Ministry of Sound brings its renowned warehouse experience, Testament, to cities across Australia and New Zealand. From August 4 to 13, 2023, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, and Auckland will be immersed in the pulsating beats of electronic dance music.
This momentous tour comprises two thoughtfully curated sessions in each city, each with its own distinctive theme. The first session pays homage to the influential sounds of 90s rave and its diverse manifestations, while the second session delves into the hedonistic club culture of the 2000s.
Session One:
Immerse yourself in the revival of each city’s local DJ legends from the 90s era, complemented by an illustrious lineup of global icons. The indomitable house music queen, Barbara Tucker (USA), joins forces with Detroit Techno pioneers Inner City (USA), the esteemed English DJ/Producer Tall Paul (UK), and Phil Hartnoll, one half of the iconic UK acid-house-meets-trance duo Orbital. Together, they bring their unrivaled 90s expertise to Session One.
Session Two:
Prepare to be transported back to the vibrant dancefloors of the early 2000s during Session Two. The masked electro-punk trailblazers and American EDM pioneers, The Bloody Beetroots (IT), take center stage, accompanied by the beloved Kitsuné electronica darlings, Digitalism (GER), and the legendary breakbeat masters FreQ Nasty (NZ/UK), Stanton Warriors (UK), and Skool of Thought (UK).
