Ministry of Sound to host ‘Testament’ a Warehouse Experience this June

Destination NSW, Sydney Solstice and Ministry of Sound are thrilled to present a never-before-seen event in Sydney, Ministry of Sound: Testament – A Warehouse Experience. To be held over three special nights on the June long weekend, the party will celebrate Ministry of Sound’s 30th birthday, with over 70 DJs playing the best dance music from The 90s, The 00s and The Now, in a multi-room, immersive experience at Campbell’s Stores warehouse in The Rocks.

Night one of Ministry of Sound: Testament on Friday, 11th June will deliver the best in 90s house, prog, trance, garage and rave anthems, with Groove Terminator, John Course, Nick Law, Simon Caldwell and more taking over the house room; Sugar Ray, Phil Smart, Jade, Ming D and Abel paying homage to Sydney’s early 90s rave scene; Anthony Pappa, Robbie Lowe, Mark Dynamix and John Ferris holding down the prog and trance room; plus a garage room hosted by Garage Pressure.

Night two on Saturday, 12th June delves into the best of 2000s house, electro and breaks with Tonite Only, Goodwill, John Course and Minx in the house room; Bag Raiders, K.I.M. (The Presets, DJ Set), Jaime Doom and Van She Tech delivering the best of 2000s electro; and Kid Kenobi, Poxymusic, Skool of Thought and more in the breaks room.

Night three on Sunday, 13th June will showcase the best of today’s dance and electronic artists including Australian dance music royalty PNAU, world-conquering Anna Lunoe, Crooked Colours (DJ set), Yolanda Be Cool and Kilter. Renowned Sydney party collective Motorik will host the techno room with special guest DJ HMC; and Generik, Ember, A-Tonez and more will deliver the biggest EDM and big room anthems of the past decade.

All three nights of Testament will deliver a multi-room, immersive journey through the best of dance music from The 90s, 2000s and now. Held in the heritage Campbell’s Stores in The Rocks, Sydney is set to come alive over the long weekend as part of the Sydney Solstice.

On this brand new event, Tim McGee, CEO of TMRW Music and previously CEO of Ministry of Sound Australia said, “Having started off working as a DJ and promoter in the rave scene in the early 90s, throwing a warehouse party in Sydney again is a full circle moment for me. I feel like this event is an amazing part of the great awakening of Sydney nightlife and the electronic music scene.”
