Seven Lions & Andrew Bayer Unleash Debut Collab “Returning To You”

“Returning To You” is the first ever collaboration between dance producers Seven Lions and Andrew Bayer.

Bridging the gap between melodic bass and trance labels Ophelia and Anjunabeats, the track is an emotive 110 BPM thumper that only gets better over time. Alison May, frequent Anjuna collaborator, takes listeners on a longing journey that culminates in the perfect blend of explosive synths, bass and melody. The track releases before their sold out show at the legendary venue Red Rocks Amphitheatre headlined by Seven Lions with special guest Andrew Bayer on July 28th.

Producer Seven Lions has never had a problem breaking rules and transcending musical boundaries to satisfy his creative vision. Catching his break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca Records, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records, and Monstercat over the past eight years. After years of floating around from labels, Seven Lions compiled his own label in 2018 called Ophelia Records. Since its emergence, the melodic bass label has made its imprint being voted the Best Label of 2019 by r/edm, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers across the country. His productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (New York and Las Vegas), Electric Forest, Electric Zoo, South by Southwest, and HARD.

A production juggernaut and a master of his craft, Andrew Bayer has packed more into his burgeoning career than most artists manage in a lifetime. After graduating from the renowned Berklee College of Music, Andrew received a Grammy nomination for his work on Above & Beyond’s album ‘We Are All We Need’ and co-produced their follow-up album ‘Common Ground’, which debuted at #3 on Billboard’s US album charts.

Andrew’s accomplishments and recognition as a solo artist are equally impressive. His 2013 electronic LP ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave’ debuted at #1 on iTunes Electronic chart and drew comparisons to DJ Shadow, Flying Lotus, and Moby. Five years in the making, his follow-up album ‘In My Last Life’ represents a humanising of the enigmatic producer’s sound – comprising of 8 heart-felt penned songs. After the release of his latest EP ‘Parallels’, Bayer embarked on a 20+ date North America tour and has played some of the biggest festivals in the world including Tomorrowland, EDCLV, Creamfields UK, and Electric Zoo.
