Strap in, Newcastle. THIS THAT is 100% approved and 100% going ahead. Following QLD’s set times drop, it’s finally time for NSW to start planning the ultimate one-day rager as today, organisers deliver Newcastle’s set times and map. There’s just under three weeks THIS THAT will be once again partying at Wickham Park on Saturday March 12th, and less than a fortnight until a huge debut in QLD.

Dancing? Approved. Singing? Encouraged. Partying? Guaranteed. From gates at 1pm until the final pieces of confetti fall, Wickham Park will host the biggest stages, most ambitious production and the largest lineup THIS THAT has ever seen. Never a dull moment at THIS THAT, ticket-holders will party-down with Aussie faves Hayden JamesMallratCrooked Colours, Client Liason and plenty more…including the newly announced charismatic and psychedelic Sycco and Newcastle natives, Craterface. Boogie away the last two years as remix royalty and vibe virtuoso, WHAT SO NOT, closes out THIS stage with bangers, bops and beats, while fellow ARIA-award winner ILLY whips up story-worthy sing-a-longs on THAT stage. Prep for a wild sunset, as everyone’s favourite mates, Dune Rats are once again trusted to take THIS THAT from day to night on THIS STAGE. Equally chaotic, The Chats, are bringing their ‘High Risk Behaviour’ and unofficial Aussie anthems to THAT stage, while soulful sunset serenades ring out from the OTHER, compliments of the one and only Budjerah. Get straight into a THIS THAT state of mind with the brutal bars of triple j Unearthed Comp winner, Mason Dane on THIS STAGE, fierce-femme pop power from Kota Banks on THAT STAGE or a dash of lush indie-electronica from newly announced Melbourne Duo, DUST on THE OTHER stage.

Spent iso perfecting those dance moves? It’s time to bust them out. The THIS THAT Mini Stage is THE location for dance divas and electronic experts to cut shapes, make mates and catch some of the best DJ’s Australia has to offer. Need to take a breather? Why not wander through the bespoke markets, take in the weirdness and whimsy of roving performers or buckle up for the adrenaline spike from one of THIS THAT’s iconic amusement rides.

A delight to all the senses, THIS THAT boasts not only the fiercest soundtrack, but the tastiest treats and most lavish libations as well. Take those taste-buds international by exploring THIS THAT’s ‘Eats from the Street’s’, where punters will find their fave food trucks – from Berlin Burgers to GreekstreetRyan Gozleme to Yan’s Dumplings and Noodle Bar. Fanging for some hot chips and a slushie? Hit up ‘The Back Alley’ for all the classic festival food fanfare. Wash it all down with a cold one from Six Strings Brewing Co., sip on a sparkling Smirnoff Seltzer, a pimped-out Gordon’s Gin or a new take on an old classic from the Jack Daniels Bar.

After the recent easing of restrictions in NSW, festival organisers are ready and raring to dish out THIS THAT in all its glory. The health and safety of ticket holders, artists, workers and vendors remains the top priority, so head to thisthat.com.au to stay updated on THIS THAT’s safety measures.

Those wanting to join the ultimate party are encouraged to act now. VIP packages have been completely snapped up, but a limited number of general admission tickets to both Sandstone and Newcastle are available at thisthat.com.au

The wait is almost over. THIS THAT is coming.
