Dubbed as one of 2015’s most anticipated releases, Major Lazer are back with their latest effort “Peace Is The Mission.”
Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire are back in the drivers seat and ready to take you on a dance-filled adventure.
“Peace Is The Mission” is packed with thrilling collaborations including Wild Belle on ‘Be Together,’ Chronixx on ‘Blaze Up The Fire’ and Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Mad Cobra on the impressive ‘Night Riders.’
Major Lazer’s signature sound is most notably on three tracks; ‘Blaze Up The Fire’, ‘Too Original’ and ‘Roll The Bass.’
‘Powerful’, with its high-profile input from Ellie Goulding is possibly the most radio-friendly, but it’s ‘Night Riders’ that’s a real album highlight.
Clocking in at just 33 minutes, “Peace Is The Mission” feels a little more polished than Major Lazer’s previous recordings, yet still displays everything that we have come to love from the group.
While the album offers nothing completely new in terms of style, fans are sure to be satisfied. Nice work Major Lazer.
