Under the stage name Tchami, Parisian DJ Martin Bresso produces what he refers to as “future house,” a blend of smooth, uplifting deep house with flashier EDM tendencies. Originally known for remixes and sample-based tracks, Tchami has achieved chart success with singles that feature guest vocals by Kaleem Taylor and Stacy Barthe and have rather melancholic lyrical themes. Tchami co-produced three tracks on Lady Gaga‘s 2013 album, ARTPOP, and began producing remixes and original tracks that year, releasing the tracks “Promesses” and “Shot Caller” as a free digital single.

Both tracks were later re-released as stand-alone singles and became successful, with “Promesses” hitting the Top Ten of the U.K. singles chart. “Untrue” also appeared in 2014, and “After Life” and “Missing You” followed in 2015. After taking several months off, Tchami returned in 2016 with the singles “SIAW” and “Prophecy,” with Malaa. He also joined Malaa, DJ Snake, and Mercer on their collective Pardon My French tour. The following year he delivered the Revelations EP, which included collaborations with Luke James and Taiki Nulight. In 2018, he issued a pair of EPs, No Redemption and Aurra/Shades and in 2019 Tchami has released a string of hits including “Made In France”, “Omega” and “Rainforest” which have all dominated the dance charts. Following recent performances at Tomorrowland, Parookaville, Mysteryland and Creamfields; Tchami‘s performances have been on fire and he’s set to bring his a-game to Australia for Festival X.
