One of the biggest names in electronic dance music is officially heading back Down Under, with Calvin Harris announcing a massive four-date Australian headline tour for February 2027.
Incredibly, despite a career that has seen the Scottish producer and DJ become one of the most successful electronic artists of the modern era, the upcoming run will mark Harris’ first-ever dedicated Australian headline tour.
The Calvin Harris Australia Tour 2027 will kick off at Langley Park in Perth on Thursday, 18 February, before moving east for huge outdoor shows at Brisbane Showgrounds on Friday, 19 February, The Domain in Sydney on Saturday, 20 February, and finally Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on Friday, 26 February.
For Australian dance music fans, it is a return that has been a long time coming.
Harris last performed in Australia as part of Festival X in 2022, while earlier appearances included some of the biggest events from Australia’s festival era, including Stereosonic and Big Day Out. Until now, however, Australian audiences have never had the opportunity to experience a full national headline tour built entirely around Calvin Harris.
Calvin Harris Is Bringing One of Dance Music’s Biggest Catalogues Back to Australia
Few electronic artists have crossed between clubs, festivals, radio and global pop culture as successfully as Calvin Harris.
From the euphoric piano chords of “Feel So Close” and festival-sized energy of “Summer”, through to “Sweet Nothing”, “Blame”, “This Is What You Came For” and the Dua Lipa collaboration “One Kiss”, Harris has assembled a catalogue that spans multiple generations of dance music.
His music has accumulated more than 35 billion streams, with his evolution as a producer seeing him move effortlessly between electro, progressive house, pop, disco-inspired dance music and the deeper sounds showcased through his Love Regenerator project.
More recent releases have continued that momentum, including collaborations such as “Blessings” with Clementine Douglas, “Satisfy” with Jazzy, “Ocean” with Jessie Reyez, and his collaboration with Kasabian, “Release The Pressure”.
With more than two decades of records behind him, the Australian dates give Harris an enormous amount of material to draw from. For longtime fans who remember his early club records as well as a younger generation introduced through his global crossover hits, these shows have the potential to bring several eras of Calvin Harris together on one stage.
A Major Moment for Australian EDM Fans
There is also something fitting about Calvin Harris returning for his own headline tour.
His connection with Australian dance music audiences stretches back to a period when festivals such as Stereosonic helped establish Australia as an essential destination on the international EDM touring circuit. Since then, Harris has progressed from festival favourite to genuine global headliner.
The scale of the venues selected for the 2027 tour reflects that evolution.
Rather than a traditional indoor arena run, Harris will perform across a collection of major outdoor locations, including The Domain in Sydney and Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, creating the kind of large-scale environment suited to one of dance music’s most recognisable catalogues.
The Australian dates will also form part of a significant trip to this side of the world. Following the headline tour, Harris is confirmed to appear at Electric Avenue in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he will headline alongside Kings of Leon as part of the festival’s 2027 edition. His Electric Avenue appearance will be his only New Zealand performance and his first there since 2019.
For Australia, though, February 2027 is finally about Calvin Harris getting the headline stage entirely to himself.
Four cities. Four huge outdoor shows. And more than two decades of dance anthems ready to be unleashed.
For EDM fans who have followed Calvin Harris from the early days of I Created Disco through to the enormous crossover records, festival main stages and global residencies that followed, this is shaping up to be one of Australia’s major electronic music tours of 2027.
