After months of campaigning and voting, DJ Mag’s ever so controversial Top 100 DJs results have been announced.
Once again, Dutch electro superstar Hardwell has taken the top spot. In 2013 we saw battle was between Hardwell and five time winner Armin Van Buuren, this year, the trance pioneer has dropped to third place with big room powerforce Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike coming in at runner-up.
This years poll has demonstrated a huge intake of debuts with Deorro, DVBBS, Oliver Heldens, Carnage, MAKJ and TJR, among others seeing their name appear in the list for the first time.
With the top 50 being dominated by big room sound once again, the list also saw some acts jump in popularity dramatically, with Blasterjaxx up 58 places, Martin Garrix up 36 and even Ummet Ozcan jumping up a massive 68 places.
