Zonneveld is determined to secure his position in music history by performing for almost 12 consecutive hours, striving to set what he asserts to be a world record.
Reinier Zonneveld, a renowned techno icon, is endeavoring to achieve a world record. This year, the Karren Maar Festival in the Netherlands is expected to be a remarkable celebration, as the Dutch DJ and producer has been exclusively appointed to perform on the festival’s mainstage.
On August 5th, the festival will take place at Stadsblokken in Arnhem, where Zonneveld will aim to break the world record for the longest individual live performance, which he claims to hold. With a capacity of up to 25,000 attendees, the event is expected to attract a significant crowd, all eager to witness Zonneveld’s pursuit of 11 hours and 11 minutes of continuous play, and potentially secure his name in the annals of dance music history.
In addition to performing his existing discography, Zonneveld will also experiment with some unreleased music during the extended live set, taking advantage of the ample time available for testing new material. Moreover, the festival’s secondary stage will showcase artists signed under Zonneveld’s record label, Filth On Acid.
