The sold-out EDC Las Vegas has been postponed until October due to coronavirus concerns.

Pasquale Rotella, CEO of festival organizer Insomniac, has officially announced the, three-day electronic dance music festival will now take place October 2-4 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

EDC Las Vegas 2020 had been set for May 15-17, expected to draw 450,000 people to the desert for three nights and boasted a massive lineup with performances by headliners likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, David Guetta and Deadmau5.

“You, the Headliners, are the heart and soul of EDC,” Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella said in a statement. “Without you, Insomniac wouldn’t exist. Thank you for being patient and supporting us while we’ve worked through this to make the best decision.”

This announcement was expected to come after sources recently reported that postponement plans about had been discussed. Electric Daisy Carnival joins the growing list of music festivals who have either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic including Ultra Miami, Glastonbury, Coachella and more.
