Electric Island returns for 2025, alongside new series Electric Warehouse, feat. Duke Dumont, Hayden James and many more.

Boutique electronic music festival Electric Island makes its grand return in 2025, alongside the debut of Electric Warehouse, co-headlined by Duke Dumont and Hayden James across two weekends in April. Four unbeatable locations. Two distinct event experiences. Four days of dance.

Electric Warehouse is set to bring the underground intensity of UK raves to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Friday 4 April and Melbourne’s PICA on Friday 11 April. Expect a dark, transportive energy where heavy beats, flickering lights and industrial vibes create a monumental rave atmosphere. Meanwhile, Electric Island offers some of Australia’s most coveted locations, blending the iconic aura of Ibiza and Bali’s beach clubs with the stunning coastal backdrops of Perth’s Cottesloe Beach on Saturday 5 April and Adelaide’s Glenelg Beach on Saturday 12 April. With sun, sea breeze and beats in perfect harmony, Electric Island is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the music by the waves.

Leading this year’s offering are global heavyweights Duke Dumont and Hayden James. A staple of the global dance music scene for over a decade, Duke Dumont is world-renowned for massive tracks like the 8x Platinum “Ocean Drive” and the chart-topping “I Got U”. His infectious melodies and deep grooves have earned him a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJs globally, and he returns for his first tour Down Under since 2022. Aussie legend Hayden James brings a euphoric, signature sound that connects with audiences on every level — and his live sets are nothing short of mesmerising. Beloved for multi-Platinum hits “Just Friends” and “Numb”, he’s set to deliver unforgettable performances across the Electric series, showcasing tracks from his 2024 album, We Could Be Love, live for the first time to his home crowd.

Joining Hayden and Duke throughout the series are the UK’s prog-house duo Trilucid, whose incomparable live set promises an unparalleled rave experience. House titans Eli & Fur will be heating things up in Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide, priming the crowd for the headliners with their high-octane sound. The lineup doesn’t stop there, Swiss deep-house legend Nora En Pure will be taking over Glenelg Beach with her hypnotic grooves, while Naarm’s Market Memories will bring their signature vibe to PICA. With this massive roster, expect nothing less than a full-throttle dancefloor takeover.

Electric Warehouse and Electric Island are brought to audiences by the same powerhouse team behind the long-running Electric Gardens festival. After a long-awaited return in 2024 following COVID, Electric Gardens re-established itself as a key player in the Australian dance music scene. Now, they push the envelope even further with this expanded Electric series — a celebration of carefully handpicked, immersive venues that not only elevate the musical experience but also reflect the energy and spirit of the community they bring together. Whether you’re soaking up the sun at Electric Island’s iconic beach locations or are lost in the grandeur of Electric Warehouse, each event offers a cutting edge and yet nostalgic experience, crafting an unforgettable atmosphere where sound, visuals and performance coalesce in ways you’ve never seen before.

Pre-sale tickets go live at 8am AEDT on Wednesday 29 January, with general on-sale kicking off on Thursday 30 January at 8am AEDT. Sign up for Electric Warehouse pre-sale here and Electric Island pre-sale here – be the first to secure your spot.

Inaugural Release, “Love Recycled 4,” Drops June 27 Featuring a Fresh Take on Change’s “Angel In My Pocket” Renowned DJ and house music icon Solomun has officially launched a brand-new imprint, Love Recycled, breathing new life into his long-standing concept of reinterpreting classic tracks for modern dancefloors. The new label builds on the legacy of Solomun’s original Love Recycled series, which first emerged in 2011 with a trio of house-infused reworks of iconic pop and R&B records. Among them was a standout rendition of Michael McDonald’s 1982 hit “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near),” which quickly became a favourite in club circuits around the world. Now, 14 years on, Solomun is expanding the project into a full-fledged label platform. The first official release under the Love Recycled banner will arrive on Friday, June 27, featuring “Love Recycled 4”—a contemporary reimagining of Change’s 1980 disco anthem “Angel In My Pocket.” The launch of Love Recycled marks a pivotal evolution in Solomun’s creative journey, offering a space not only for his own interpretations but also for a wider collective of artists. “Now that Love Recycled has grown into its own label, the vision expands beyond Solomun himself,” according to the label. “A new wave of world-class artists will take part, continuing the mission of celebrating and reimagining the classics.” With its inaugural release poised to honour the past while pushing sonic boundaries forward, Love Recycled sets the stage for a fresh era of dance music nostalgia; recrafted for today’s global audience.
