After months of impatient waiting, it’s finally time to lift the curtain on the 2015 Future Music Festival lineup. Having raised the bar with last summer’s edition, led by deadmau5 and Macklemore, this time round there’s even more to take in.
Looking for some blockbuster headliners? Check. Looking for those elusive acts we’ve been hoping to see for a couple of years now? Yep, they’re here too.
The national festival, will once again hit Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and they’ve pulled out stops to make it bigger than ever. Dubstep, techno, house, electro and some of the biggest live headliners in the game will be spread across a host of curated arenas. So who’s making the trip down here to help us end the summer season with a bang?
At the top of the long list is untouchable headliner Avicii, Canadian rapper Drake and festival bass veterans The Prodigy.
Seasoned crowd-pullers Example and Afrojack also lead the charge, while fans will surely be rejoicing that Nero and Carnage have booked their return visit down under. Live acts are once again at the fore, including Die Antwoord , 2 Chainz , Gorgon City and Kiesza. Oh, and in case you hadn’t noticed, Future has also booked the return of techno legend Sven Vath to headline the Cocoon arena.
