Groovin The Moo, a popular regional music festival in Australia, will return in 2023 for its first nationwide run since 2019.
In 2023, Groovin The Moo festival will take place in six states and territories throughout April and May. The festival will see a change this year, as it will be held in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast instead of Townsville. The change was attributed to logistical issues and financial difficulties.
A statement was issued by Steve Halpin of Groovin The Moo in a press release saying “We are so happy to be able to do a full tour across the country in 2023.”
“We have missed you terribly and can’t wait to bring back the good times around the country. Whilst we are very sad not be returning to Townsville, we look forward to bringing GTM to the Sunshine Coast.”
In the previous year, Groovin The Moo resumed operations following the COVID-19 pandemic, but only visited three locations, which were Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo. Find the 2023 schedule and venues for Groovin The Moo below.
