With an ear for fresh sound production, the dynamic and effortless stamina of Australian based Highup is obvious. As an Artist, international mediums have wasted no time getting familiar with the Highup bass. The Gold Coast’s premiere dance music FM station 105.7 Radio Metro has Highup on high rotation. His previous work with the guys on: ‘Okay Okay’ via Multiplayer Records drove a pumping spot on the ARIA Club Charts at #11 while also taking out #8 on Beatport’s Electro House Chart. Before this, the Highup catalogue brewed: ‘Listen Up’, ‘Kill the Game’, and ‘Seeing Red’ that caught every club head off guard, gaining support from: Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Blasterjaxx, Timmy Trumpet, R3hab, Showtek, Fedde Le Grande, DJs from Mars, Morgan Page, Dash Berlin, Subliminals and more.
Like most touring DJ/Producers, the global pandemic cancelled Mitch’s jam-packed touring schedule and forced him back into the studio experimenting with instrumental sounds on various tracks. He was able to work on many different tracks during this time (expect more releases throughout the year).
‘Party’ definitely had a vibe which would end up with Snoop Dogg’s signature style and so Mitch decided to reach out to Snoop re a collaboration.
“There is always a silver lining and even though I’m not preforming internationally, I am still working hard behind the scenes, playing local gigs and getting creative with my brand and of course always working on music. Sony came to me with these awesome vocals by Snoop Dogg, I accepted the challenge and teamed up with ‘Top 100’ DJ Aryue to make this production.” – Highup.
