Melodic bass and trance mastermind Jason Ross releases “One Look,” the first single on Ophelia Records since his debut album.
Marking Jason Ross‘ first Ophelia Records release since his debut album 1000 Faces in January, “One Look” is an emotional rollercoaster. The track features the delicate vocals of pop/EDM singer and songwriter Heather Sommer, who’s also had releases on Proximity and Seeking Blue.
“One Look” furthers Jason’s visibility in dance music as a multi-genre producer, as he crosses seamlessly between the worlds of melodic bass/dubstep and trance. This is Jason’s follow up to his massive collaboration with Slander “Better Than Heaven” feat. JT Roach and his recent trance release on Anjunabeats, “For Love”.
1000 Faces released in January with multiple placements in mint, New Music Friday, Dance Rising, Friday Cratediggers and Breaking Dance. The album peaked on the iTunes Dance chart in various countries – #1 in Norway, #2 in Canada and Russia, #3 in the US and #4 in Australia.
His track “1000 Faces” went a third of the year on iHeart Evolution and was listed as a BPM Breaker on BPM with 46 plays during just 5 weeks. Jason’s 23 city “1000 Faces Tour” with Sunny Lax and Matt Fax before lockdown sold out cities including Montreal, Austin, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Seattle. He has also played the Dreamstate Livestream, Nocturnal Wonderland Virtual Rave-A-Thon, Digital Mirage Online Music Festival and Seven Lions’ live mini-festival Visions.
