Breaking records, electrifying the Coliseum: Kaskade and deadmau5 deliver a performance for the ages!
Despite only having performed together a few times, Kx5, a duo consisting of deadmau5 and Kaskade, has already made a significant impact in the electronic music scene. Their debut performance at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year was highly acclaimed and named one of the best performances of 2022 by EDM.com. The duo’s follow-up performance at the L.A. Coliseum lived up to the high expectations set by their initial success and further solidified their place in electronic music history.
According to Pollstar and Billboard, Kx5‘s recent performance at the L.A. Coliseum has been confirmed as the largest single-day concert by an electronic artist in North America. The show, which was attended by a record-breaking 50,000 people and generated $3.7 million in revenue, was a major success. This achievement has solidified Kx5‘s place in the history of electronic music.
During their performance, Kx5 treated their audience to some of their newest singles, such as “Escape” and “Take Me High,” as they prepare for the release of their debut album in 2023. They also took their fans on a nostalgic trip by performing some of their classic hits, including “I Remember.”
Thank you, we made history.
