On Friday the 8th of December, one of the electronic music scene’s most popular and unique artists will return to Australia to debut his LIVE show in support of his upcoming new album ‘1989’. To be released on Germany’s Kompakt Records, Kölsch will present us with the final chapter of an album trilogy which started with an exploration of his early childhood memories and influences on ‘1977’ (the year of his birth), and continued on to ‘1983’ (a vibrant and picturesque journey sound tracking the year he travelled through Europe aged six).

All set to take place at the newly revamped Forum Theatre, Kölsch will deliver a head-turning new show which will include a stunning visual aspect alongside music from the brand new album, and, of course, past Kölsch classics.

The Danish artist will be coming in hot after a head-turning run of global domination: touring around the globe; remixes of Sven Väth, Flume and Coldplay; Ibiza commitments and his own BBC Radio 1 Residency radio show. This is set to go down as one of the year’s best shows.
