Last year The Living Room Festival took over The Paddock at Federation Square for one of the city’s most talked-about events. With more creature comforts than home, The Living Room Festival felt more like the best kick-on ever than a festival. It was inevitable that the event would return.
Novel and Happen is excited to join forces for the sophomore outing of the Living Room Festival. This time around the event expands with more artists, more couches and more comforts of home that any party enthusiast could ever dream of. The festival will move to The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne which will be transformed into an armchair enthusiast’s most comfortable party dreams. As with all Novel events you can expect state-of-the-art production, Funktion-One sound and hand-selected food and market stalls.
In what will be a Victorian exclusive, Motor City Drum Ensemble will headline the impressive lineup of four internationals alongside a host of local acts. Also announced is a purveyor of soul and funk, Jeremy Underground, who in another Victorian exclusive will return for the first time in over 3 years. Germany’s Acid Pauli will be returning to Australia for the first time in four years, and finally, a pioneer of the chill and downbeat genre, Nightmares on Wax, will round out the international program.
