It appears electronic dance music is in high supply at the 2019 edition of Lollapalooza.
With the Northern summer fast approaching, the last of the festivals announcements are finding their way to the masses.
Among them is that of Lollapalooza, whose organizers have just revealed the massive lineup for the four-day gathering.
While Lollapalooza is not an EDM festival per se, the festival will feature no shortage of electronic music talent. Australia’s own Flume tops the bill alongside other headliners including Ariana Grande, Twenty One Pilots, The Stokes, Childish Gambino, J Balvin, Aussies Tame Impala and super duo The Chainsmokers.
With Lollapalooza embracing electronic artists, the 2019 lineup also see’s the likes of RL Grime, FISHER, Snails, Madeon, Alesso, RÜFÜS DU SOL, San Holo, Party Favor, Lane 8, Deorro, Boombox Cartel, Svdden Death and more.
The brainchild of Janes Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza inaugurated in Chicago in 1991. After a hiatus from 1998-2002, the event brand had a couple rocky years before expanding to cities like São Paulo, Paris and Berlin.
Lollapalooza 2019 will run from August 1st-4th. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the event website.
