Lost Paradise, the mind-blowing New Year’s festival experience held just an hour’s drive from Sydney in the lush bushland of the Central Coast’s Glenworth Valley, has announced its sensational line-up for 2019. Dance heavyweights Rüfüs Du Sol, Golden Features, Green Velvet, Dom Dolla, Denis Sulta and Honey Dijon will perform over four epic days of music, wellness, food, art and cultural experiences.
Festival-goers can sign up for pre-sale access and be in the chance to win a lifetime pass at www.lostparadise.com.au. Pre-sale tickets go on sale from Tuesday 20 August, before general sale opens Wednesday 21 August.
Now in its sixth year, Lost Paradise has cemented itself as a world-class cultural event, bringing together some of the world’s hottest acts, emerging musical talent, yoga teachers and practitioners to feed the soul through revelry, connection and discovery. The camping-only festival is respectfully set on ancient land known to local Indigenous elders as ‘Paradise Lost’ and offers a completely immersive escape from city life. The guiding vision is to provide a creative, inspiring and respectful environment of extraordinary experiences and encourage people to forge deeper connections with nature, others and themselves.
Home to the weird and wonderful, Lost Paradise is filled with unique and mesmerising characters and exciting curve balls. The magical Shambhala Fields oasis will showcase some of the most experienced and expert practitioners from across the globe with an eclectic range of yoga, talks, workshops, healing arts and indigenous experiences, while Lost Village, the festival’s shaded foodie hub, will offer a tasty line-up of Australia’s tastiest restaurants and food trucks. Lost Paradise also offers a host of camping options, from rent-a-tents to decadent luxury glamping. Further details on all will be revealed soon.
Lost Paradise is committed to creating a safe and sustainable environment for their guests. The working team, artists and performers will lead by example with a total ban on single-use plastic bottled water back-of-house; the Earth Warriors crew will be mounting daily campsite clean-ups and dance-floor patrols using comedy and immersive theatre to encourage waste-reduction; and DanceWize, a NUAA program that is funded by the NSW Ministry of Health to educate people on the implications of drug use, will offer peer support and health resources across the festival site.
