    • Seven Lions & Andrew Bayer Unveil New Collab ‘Places I Belong’ seven-lions-andrew-bayer-2024

Seven Lions & Andrew Bayer Join Forces with Vocalist Fiora on Hot New Collaboration. “Places I Belong” is the second collaboration from dance producers Seven Lions and Andrew Bayer. Longing piano chords and vocals from beloved Seven Lions vocal collaborator Fiora transition into nostalgic and simultaneously modern eurodance verses. The track marks the lead single off Andrew Bayer’s debut Ophelia EP and corresponding winter tour. Andrew Bayer has been responsible for the most experimental and ambitious artist albums on Anjunabeats. His 2011 debut ‘It’s Artificial’ merged glitch-hop, electronica and prog house, while on 2013’s ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave’ he pushed the envelope further with a critically-acclaimed journey of electronica and sunny, instrumental hip-hop. 2018’s ‘In My Last Life’ wove the emotive songwriting of Ane Brun and Alison May into a modern alt-pop masterpiece. His fourth studio album, ‘Duality’, is one of his most ambitious works to date; climbing to #1 on the US / Canada iTunes Dance chart and attracting support from Sirius XM’s Diplo and Liquid Todd, BBC Radio 1’s Annie Nightingale and KCRW’s Jason Bentley. Last year, Andrew followed up the success of ‘Duality’ with a far-reaching North American tour and made an appearance at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender festivities at The Gorge. He also joined Seven Lions on his ‘Journey III’ tour with stops at The Greek Theatre, MGM Hall, Avant Gardner (Brooklyn Mirage), Downtown Las Vegas Event Center, Santa Barbara Bowl and beyond. Washington-based producer Seven Lions has never had an issue pushing the boundaries of electronic music to fulfill his creative vision. Catching a break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records, and Monstercat over the past ten years. After releasing on a plethora of labels, Seven Lions created Ophelia Records in 2018 which has since become a leading independent label in the melodic bass subgenre. Since its emergence only four years ago, the label has already made an imprint in the dance music scene having been voted Dancing Astronaut’s Label Of The Year in 2021, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers and showcases around the country. His productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, and HARD.
