While sharing a tribute on the 10th anniversary of their iconic debut album “Welcome Reality,” UK dance outfit NERO announced the follow-up to 2015’s “Between II Worlds.”
In 2011, the world was treated to Nero‘s debut studio album “Welcome Reality” and overnight, the group saw success with the number 1 charting album in the UK, cracking the top 20 in Australia’s Aria charts and the top 10 in the US Billboard charts. In 2015, Nero returned with the sophomore studio record “Between II Worlds” which went straight to number one on the US Billboard charts, and saw worldwide chart success in Australia, the UK, Japan, Scotland and New Zealand.
To celebrate the 10tht anniversary of their materpeice “Welcome Reality,” Nero have announced that a third album is on the way.
The Grammy-winning trio took to social media to exult in the anniversary, sharing a screenshot of the iconic “Welcome Reality” album cover as well as a computer folder titled “Nero 3rd album demos.”
The tweet’s comment section was immediately set ablaze and sent the band into trending status on Twitter with excitement and speculation. Although the anticipation is already through the roof, Nero unfortunately stopped short of divulging any more information, including a title or release date. However, if you look closely, you can see that the folder contains 12 items, leading some to believe that the album will comprise 12 tracks.
