Over 1 Millions Fans Stream Timmy Trumpet’s Live Performance From Sydney Harbour

Australia’s biggest export DJ, Timmy Trumpet, took to social media Sunday evening streaming a one-hour special with the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge in tow. Fans from over 60 countries tuned in to watch an explosive trademark set that Timmy has become famed for internationally. The livestream clocked 1.4 million views and received over 24,000 comments on Facebook from people tuning in from all around the world.

Usually operated by a travelling crew of 10, Trumpet’s supercharged pyrotechnic show was scaled down to himself and his girlfriend broadcasting digitally from inside a modest apartment. Giant C02 and confetti cannons were exchanged with deodorant cans, nerf guns and party poppers. Cockatoos flew in, watching from his balcony railing. Special guest appearances were made by stuffed animals rather than A-list EDM collaborators like Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.

Hailing from Sydney himself, Timmy has risen to the ranks of superstar DJ headlining the world’s most celebrated music festivals like Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival and Creamfields. Last year alone, Timmy performed at 60 stadium and festival events.

“What has happened to the Australian entertainment industry is happening everywhere. We all want life to return to normal as fast as possible but the health of all people around the world is the absolute priority no matter your age or where you come from. I’m so proud that promoters and DJs all over the world are sharing this important message” – Timmy Trumpet.

Timmy Trumpet is one of many artists that took to social media calling for fans to stay at home in order to #SaveTheSummer – a call to action inspiring fans to be safe for their own health and our future. The campaign targets the European and American summer festival season where Timmy is scheduled to play more than 20 festivals.

“I’ve had thousands of fans message me asking for answers about the future of our industry. The least I can do is give everyone a performance with the same energy I take to a festival stage. We all need to switch off, even if it’s just for an hour.”
