In an attempt to surpass the efforts in 2014, which saw the likes of Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Headhunterz and more descend onto Australian shores, the organisers behind Australia’s premier electronic music festival Stereosonic have blown out proceedings for their 2015 tour.
With a jaw-dropping lineup that packed with some of dance music’s biggest stars, Stereosonic set to kick off the summer with a bang.
So how big is this year’s Stereosonic?
It’s big! While the festival has reverted back to single-day events, the mega-festival sure makes up for that with an overflowing lineup to once again drool over.
Armin van Buuren leads the front of the Stereosonic 2015 lineup as the locked in mainstage headliner. The dutchman will see the likes of Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Major Lazer and Australia’s Peking Duk bring the energy to the mainstage with Diplo, What So Not, Tchami and Jauz heading up the Sonic stage.
The Beatport stage see’s the return of festival trap producer Carnage who will be supporting a new studio album. Aussie legends Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet and ShockOne will also make their highly anticipated return to Stereosonic raising the energy once again.
With the sheer amount of trance tours Australia has already witnessed and is set to witness in 2015, you’re probably think who else could there be for Stereosonic to book? UK icon Gareth Emery, Armada rising star Andrew Rayel, Anjunabeats favourites Andrew Bayer and Jason Ross, and of course; Australia’s MaRLo will front the Atlantis stage.
For the house heads out there, Stereosonic’s newest stage ‘The Woods’ will feature some of the best in house and techno; with Claude VonStroke, MK, Hannah Wants and Patrick Topping all making the trip to Australian shores.
But that’s really just the surface of this year’s lineup. The only way to fully take it all in is to check out the lineup below!
