Newcastle and Sandstone Point will be buzzing with excitement this November as the highly anticipated “This That” weekender returns with a star-studded lineup of nearly 30 outstanding artists. This is just the initial artist announcement, and there’s much more to come!
Headlining the event is none other than the acclaimed Gang Of Youths. Joining them at the top of the bill is the electronic maestro, Porter Robinson, gracing the Australian stage after six years to celebrate his 2021 album “Nurture.”
Alongside the headliners, a plethora of talented Australian artists will keep every music lover thrilled. Get ready to dance with a special live performance from Peking Duk, while The Presets, Slumberjack, Set Mo, Godlands, and Kinder keep the dancefloor pumping.
For those looking for heartfelt moments and sing-alongs, Alex Lahey, Hockey Dad, Eliza & The Delusionals, and pop sensation Lola Scott will deliver. Meanwhile, the mosh will be rocking with Trophy Eyes and Dear Seattle, and hip-hop enthusiasts can enjoy Hooligan Hefs, Jesswar, Sophiya, and ChillinIT.
The bonus beats for Newcastle will come from the smooth operators Winston Surfshirt and the electrifying DJ set from electroclash legends The Presets.
The festival’s three stages – THIS, THAT, and OTHER – promise a dynamic blend of open-air spectacle, the ultimate rave cave, and captivating art and sound installations.
Tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday, 3 August, from 8 am local time. Additionally, VIP and travel/accommodation packages will be offered. For the eager fans, a pre-sale kicks off on 1 August.
