American music producer Tycho is no stranger to Burning Man. For years, he’s treated fans to his blissful sounds and special sunrise sets and in 2019 he’s returned to Black Rock City for another round of sun, music and a whole lot of good vibes.
Tycho recorded a special sunrise set at Burning Man which he then uploaded to his Soundcloud. The new set takes listeners on an sonic journey, through the ages of music. Kicking off with Van Halen’s “1984” then set runs through an out-of-this-world collection of songs; from his on selections to rare classics.
“Happy to present this year’s sunrise set, live from the Dusty Rhino in Black Rock City on Thursday, August 29th, 2019,” Tycho notes in the mix’s description. “Thank you all for taking the time to share in this moment, it’s truly a highlight for me to spend this morning with you each year.”
Stream the new mix below and if you keep year ears sharp, you’ll find tracks from the likes of Four Tet, Bonobo, Chrome Spars and more!
