UK electronic music legends Underworld will release their highly anticipated tenth studio album titled ‘DRIFT Series 1’, on November 1.
The release will mark the first installment of their DRIFT project which started late last year and has been a work in progress throughout 2019.
Over the course of twelve months, Underworld have been steady at work in the studio and sought to create and publish music and film episodically. The production of ‘DRIFT Series 1’ saw the duo collaborate with the likes of techno bruiser Ø [Phase] to Japanese noise band Melt-Banana and Guardian columnist Aditya Chakrabortty.
Fans will not only be treated to new music, but the entire body of work recorded during this period via a box set, which contains 7 CDs, a Blu-ray and an exclusive, 80-page book. ‘DRIFT Series 1’ will also be available as a CD and LP sampler — which ‘guides the listener straight through the centre of the project’ — and via streaming services.
Fans who wish to pre-order both the box set and sampler can do so here.
