  Hannah Wants unveils the ‘Ghetto EP’ on DFTD, a return to her edgier, bass-heavy roots with two distinct tracks designed for the club. Hannah’s trajectory throughout 2023 was signposted by performances at flagship events, including Defected Croatia, Defected’s Australasian Tour, and The Warehouse Project. In 2024, her collaboration with Sam Divine and Jem Cooke, ‘Cruel Intentions,’ kicked off the year before Hannah appeared on the ambitious livestream celebrating 25 years of Defected with 25 titan DJs playing B2B in 2024. After a string of releases showcasing her more emotive side on the London house label, Hannah Wants returns to the bass house sound she helmed for over a decade, releasing ‘Ghetto EP’ on sister label DFTD. The first of two deeper, headier cuts, ‘Ghetto,’ offers relentless club energy, with deep, percussive synths that hammer away underneath expressive audio sampling. ‘Let The Beat Talk’ follows, featuring frequent Plump Records collaborator Baby Luck on cool vocals. • FISHER & Kita Alexander Join Forces on ‘Atmosphere’

  GRAMMY and ARIA-nominated DJ and producer FISHER, and fellow Australian singer-songwriter Kita Alexander, unite in their latest single, ‘Atmosphere’. The second FISHER ID previewed during his 2023 Coachella set with Chris Lake, ‘Atmosphere’ has already amassed over 2000 creations and millions of views on TikTok, fervently urging for its official release. • Gorgon City Unveil B-Side Single ‘Rumblah’

  Rumblah your way into the underground with Gorgon City. Gorgon City is renowned for their lush vocal house melodies and has been making waves with their recent shift towards underground house music. Building on the success of their tracks “Sidewindah” and “Foggy Geezer,” they have now introduced their latest offering of gritty, deep house with “Rumblah.” Released under their own label Realm Records, “Rumblah” is the B-side to their previous original, adding another powerful track to their late-night club sets and expanding their repertoire for the upcoming Ibiza club season. “Rumblah” takes listeners back to the foundation of classic four-on-the-floor beats and revisits the sound that first drew Gorgon City to the house music genre.
