MELBOURNE’S ICONIC ELECTRONIC MUSIC HUB XE54 ANNOUNCES ITS RETURN AT NEW 24 HOUR VENUE
Electronic music hub Xe54 has announced its resurrection after a one year hiatus. The iconic club night will relaunch at multi-level space with a 24 hour licence – The Bottom End. Xe54 will once again take place weekly on a Saturday. The music programme for launch night will be announced in the coming days.
Xe54 will maintain its focus on high quality production, with its new home being fitted out with an upgraded sound system and Xe’s signature neon strip lighting.
Launching in 2017, Xe54 cemented itself as one of the most exciting event spaces in Melbourne hosting some of the most reputable names in electronic music including Solomun, Sven Vath, Marcel Dettmann, Carl Craig, Gerd Jansen & more. Not only recognisable names on a global scale, the club has a strong emphasis on showcasing and developing local talent with a dedicated list of resident artists from all over Australia that have been steadily building a name for itself.
Taking inspiration from European counterparts, Xe54 has been at the forefront of the underground house and techno scene flourishing in Melbourne in recent years allowing for a wave of new artists to have their time in the spotlight where it means the most to them, on home soil.
With music at its backbone, Xe54 aims to act as a platform where community will thrive and better clubbing culture reigns true. Xe54 has a zero tolerance policy towards anti social-behaviour.
