From July 30 – August 2, the iconic Lollapalooza festival will take over YouTube to stream Lolla2020, the digital replacement for its would-be in-person iteration.
The four night extravaganza is set to host the who’s who of music with headline performances from acts such as Metallica, Outkast, Paul McCartney, Janes Addiction, Tenacious D, Run The Jewels and Ellie Goulding.
The Lolla2020 virtual festival also features an all-star cast of electronic music artists with headline performances from the likes of Kaskade, ZHU, NGHTMRE and Australia’s dance queen Alison Wonderland who’ll play a special live set.
Also joining the dance music lineup is 4B, Boombox Cartel, Carnage, CloZee, DJ Premier, SAYMYNAME, Valentino Khan, Whipped Cream, Yeah Yea Yeahs and many more.
The live appearances will be complemented by throwback sets from past Lollapaloozas. Combined, Lolla2020 comprises more than 150 artist cameos.
The livestream will broadcast exclusively from YouTube and the festival’s website from July 30 – August 2 at 6 p.m. EST each day. Festival organizers have partnered with Arts for Illinois Relief Fund, the Equal Justice Initiative, and When We All Vote with an overarching aim to raise awareness of each organization for the duration of the four-day affair.
