Seven Lions and Blastoyz reunite for their second collab “Reason For Fighting”. Since its live debut in 2020, the track has become one of the most highly anticipated releases on the label and follows their latest collab “After Dark” off Seven Lions’ Start Again EP. Featuring three powerful drops, “Reason For Fighting” weaves through psytrance and melodic bass to blur the lines between a mainstage anthem and underground heavy-hitter with triumphant vocals from ERV ELLO. From Ultra Music Festival to EDC Mexico, the track has marked showstopping moments at festivals around the country over the past few months. Most recently, Seven Lions and Blastoyz reunited on Beyond Wonderland’s mainstage to showcase the track one last time before its release. Washington-based producer Seven Lions has never had an issue pushing the boundaries of electronic music to fulfill his creative vision. Catching a break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records, and Monstercat over the past ten years. After releasing on a plethora of labels, Seven Lions founded Ophelia Records in 2018 which has since become a leading independent label in the melodic bass subgenre. Since its emergence only four years ago, the label has already made an imprint in the dance music scene having been voted Dancing Astronaut’s Label Of The Year in 2021, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers and showcases around the country. Seven Lions’ productions have seen stages at world-renowned festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, and HARD. Israeli DJ, musician and producer Kobi Nigreker, better known as Blastoyz, has cemented himself as one of the leading artists in the psytrance scene over the past few years. His uplifting production and hypnotizing basslines have landed him on labels such as Armada Music, Iboga Records, Spinnin’ and Dreamstate with support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Will Sparks and more. Abraxis, Seven Lions’ psytrance alter alias with the duo Dimibo, is releasing their first single in over a year and their fourth ever release with the single “Black Rainbow”. The track is a fan favorite, known for its cryptic dialogue and multiple high energy, show-stopping drops. “Black Rainbow” releases the day before the third installment of Seven Lions’ festival Chronicles at the Gorge Amphitheatre, where they’ll be playing a special costumed set with new show visuals to over 10,000 fans in attendance. Abraxis is a conceptual psytrance project formed by melodic bass powerhouse Seven Lions (Jeff Montalvo) and Washington based psytrance duo Dimibo (Filip Pankovcin & Loch Stimpson). They first worked together in 2017 on their remix of Excision’s dubstep hit The Paradox, and over the next two years they performed numerous back to back sets at festivals and clubs across the country. In mid 2019 the trio announced they would officially be combining forces with the creation of Abraxis, the project set to debut at Insomniac’s Dreamstate festival that November. Abraxis has released three singles so far; Old Gods, Night Rider, and Half of It. While their sound is firmly rooted in psytrance, the three producers incorporate a wide range of production techniques and musical genres, giving their music a unique hybrid feel. The Abraxis brand invites listeners to enter the thematically rich and ominous world of the Abraxis Institute, a mysterious academy founded by the enigmatic Dr. Abraxis. With roles as Institute ‘faculty,’ the three members are responsible for delivering lectures and subjecting pupils to the will of Dr. Abraxis.

The next chapter of Abraxis has arrived with the release of the production powerhouse’s “Night Rider” on Seven Lions’ Ophelia imprint. “Night Rider” marks the very first release on Ophelia from Abraxis, the newly formed alias by Seven Lions combined with psytrance duo Dimibo, and the group’s second ever release. Combining influences of psy, midtempo and melodic dubstep, the powerhouse trio adds an entirely original spin on psytrance with three completely different drops each spanning unique genres on this behemoth of a track. Abraxis’ set was one of the highlights of Dreamstate SoCal 2019, with a festival closing set to a fully packed tent on the second night. Miami’s Ultra Music Festival to celebrate 25 years with Above & Beyond, Carl Cox, Armin van Buuren and More. Ultra Music Festival has officially revealed the first phase of its 2025 lineup, marking a monumental return to Bayfront Park from March 28-30. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the festival is pulling out all the stops, unveiling a star-studded lineup that promises to be one of the most memorable in its history. EDC Thailand marks a new chapter for the electric sky, set to dazzle in just six months. EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) is set to make its debut in Thailand, bringing its iconic festival experience to the stunning shores of Phuket. The inaugural EDC Thailand will take place on January 17, 18, and 19, 2025, at the picturesque Boat Avenue Lakefront. What began as a humble underground event in Los Angeles has grown into a global phenomenon. EDC now hosts festivals in major cities including Las Vegas, Orlando, Mexico City, Tokyo, and EDSEA, and Thailand is the latest addition to this illustrious list. Ultra Japan has announced the first phase of its lineup for the festival’s 9th edition in Tokyo. Scheduled for September 14-15, Ultra Japan will bring some of the most sought-after acts in techno and house music to Odaiba Ultra Park. This year’s festival will feature two stages – the Ultra Main Stage and the Resistance Stage – both packed with electrifying performances by renowned dance music icons. The Ultra Main Stage will host trance legend Armin Van Buuren, electronic music stars Afrojack and Alesso, as well as Steve Aoki. Additionally, ISOxo and Knock2 will join forces once again, known for their unique blend of trap and bass house. Australian breakout drum and bass producer Luude today announces the launch of his new imprint No Instruction in partnership with his long standing management company Cloak, distributed by Virgin Music. The new imprint is about creating legitimate moments for artists using the live platform and global network of the team. Luude shares “we want to throw good parties, put out records we like from people we like and we want to have a good crack at doing all those things as best and big as possible.”  To mark the debut, No Instruction presents its first release, ‘Fun In The Sun,’ by Luude & Perth based producer Harry Bee. Roughly 100,000 people will experience Anyma’s unprecedented, six-night residency, delivering the Sphere’s first-ever electronic dance music shows. The acclaimed Italian DJ and producer will be the first electronic dance music artist to perform at the world’s largest spherical structure, the $2.3 billion Sphere. Following the announcement of a landmark New Year’s Eve headlining show, the venue added five additional events due to “incredible ongoing demand,” according to a press release. All six concerts, scheduled from December 27th to January 1st, sold out in less than 24 hours.
