In just three short years, JP Orchison has taken the Blanke project from his native Canberra to the world, amassing over 20 million streams online and gracing the stages of some of North America’s biggest festivals in like EDC and Ultra. This August Blanke returns home to Australia for the Change and Decay Tour.
“It’s been a crazy first half of the year, moving to America and playing festivals I’ve dreamt of for so long! I’ve been writing a HEAP of new music over here too and I’m so excited to bring it back home to play this August!” – Blanke
After cutting his teeth with a few laps of Australia and New Zealand, including the national support for Illenium’s debut tour and two headline tours of his own, Blanke relocated to Los Angeles in January this year after inking a deal with United Talent Agency – home to artists like Post Malone and Marshmello.
Blanke’s music has found itself on labels like Astralwerks, TMRW Music, Ultra, Dim Mak, Ministry Of Sound, Deadbeats, Lowly Palace and Buygore; has scored airtime on triple j, BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM; featured in mixes and radio shows by Diplo, NGHTMRE, Slander, Alison Wonderland, Noisia, Zeds Dead; as well as landing in DJ sets at festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Splendour in The Grass, Shambala and Lost Lands thanks to the likes of Rezz, Kayzo, Grandtheft, Illenium, Steve Aoki, GTA and more.
Kicking things off in Melbourne on August 9th the Aussie-born, LA-based DJ will then hit Auckland, Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong and Perth, finishing things off with his first hard ticket show in Sydney at Oxford Art Factory on August 30th. View the full tour dates below!
