Currently in the country to play the national Listen Out festivals, UK DJ and producer Duke Dumont has just been announced to headline Listen Out’s official after party at Ministry of Sound Club in Sydney next Saturday night, 30th September.
Two of the most powerful names in modern-day dance music, Duke Dumont and Gorgon City have joined forces for ‘Real Life’ featuring Australian duo NAATIONS (Nicky Night Time & Nat Dunn). Inspired by the beautiful Balearic setting of Ibiza, the track is set to be a 2017 anthem.
Duke Dumont has released a string of massive hits – two UK #1s including the Grammy-nominated ‘Need U (100%)’ featuring A*M*E and ‘I Got U’ feat Jax Jones, followed in quick succession by UK #2 record ‘Won’t Go Back’. Duke Dumont dominated Australian charts and airwaves with his massive hit ‘Ocean Drive’ which was a top 5 ARIA single, #1 airplay track and sold over 3 x platinum in Australia. Amassing 1 billion combined streams across his release history to date, Duke Dumont has played one of the most pivotal roles in making deep house the global juggernaut that it is today. Most recently, the UK titan has produced and co-written the huge new single from Katy Perry (featuring Nicki Minaj) – “Swish, Swish”.
