Hot on the heels of his “Redux 004” EP, Kaskade is back with “I Have Dreams,” another brand new track to carry fans through these difficult times. He teamed up with Australian newcomers Blue Noir and NYC-based Tishmal for the emotive and groovy song, which was originally intended to be part of Kaskade‘s upcoming studio album. However, he recognized the healing power of music and connection that the dance community needs now more than ever and wanted to give his fans something to smile about. “I Have Dreams” delivers distorted melodies and ethereal vocals that have become a key part of Kaskade‘s sound, which build into deep, reverberating basslines perfect for after-hours vibes. Kaskade elaborates on his decision to release the the track earlier than planned below:

“The song ‘I Have Dreams’ was initially meant to be saved for a later studio album, but as this stay at home/quarantine moment is unfolding, I’ve just seen one consistent thing: music is a true healer. Everyone enjoys the distraction and the connection. It just dawned on me that I have one way to maybe help some of my audience smile and keep going, even if it’s only for the next 3 minutes. They have supported me with almost evangelical loyalty through the years, the least I can do is start just releasing as much music as possible right now so we can stay connected in that way.” – Kaskade

As a household name in electronic music for nearly two decades, Kaskade needs no introduction. His list of achievements is a mile long: 11 studio albums, 7 GRAMMY nominations, the first solo electronic dance artist to sell out both Navy Pier in Chicago and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the first DJ to ever secure a Las Vegas residency, and the first electronic artist to headline Coachella. Less tangible but even more important has been his influence on dance music tastes and culture for generations of listeners. Often Kaskade is one of the artists who introduced now-veteran listeners to the genre, and such fans are usually fans for life. In 2019, he worked with multi-award winner Meghan Trainor on “With You” and Gorgon City on “Go Slow,” among solo releases, such as “My Light,” “Come On,” and official remixes for the likes of Alicia KeysJennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani earlier. Kaskade continues what has become a nostalgic tradition for many dance music veterans and a cherished experience for new listeners. Stay tuned for more news from Kaskade in 2020.

    • Above & Beyond and PROFF Collab on ‘Palermo / Fractals’ EP above-and-beyond-2021-oz-edm-feature

This EP sees label bosses Above & Beyond release an original mix on their own Anjunadeep imprint for the first time. Tapping into their deeper side ahead of their rare headlining appearance at Anjunadeep Open Air London, GRAMMY-nominated trio Above & Beyond showcase their diversity with a marked departure from the high-tempo trance bangers that they’ve become known for. PROFF saw his first Anjunadeep release back in 2008 and has been releasing on Monstercat, Melody Of The Soul, and SkyTop recently. His sets at the annual Anjunadeep Explorations festival in Albania have become fan favorite attractions, with the Russian producer consistently taking crowds on a hypnotic journey. The opening track, ‘Palermo,’ is a summery and euphoric melodic house anthem, while ‘Fractals’ showcases PROFF’s mastery of organic house sounds and Above & Beyond’s melodic sensibility. Founders of the iconic Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep record labels and hosts of a weekly radio show that reaches millions of dance lovers every Friday (Group Therapy), Above & Beyond have earned two GRAMMY™️nominations for anthems ‘Northern Soul’ feat. Richard Bedford and We’re All We Need feat. Zoë Johnston. In 2018, the band’s fourth electronic album, Common Ground, debuted at number three on the Official Billboard Album Chart. Described by UK music bible Q Magazine as “the world’s biggest cult band,” Above & Beyond’s enviable list of sold-out shows includes headline performances at historic venues like Madison Square Garden, NYC, The Hollywood Bowl, The Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall London, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and record-breaking turnouts for their own festival events on LA’s Huntington Beach and at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State. Songwriters first, producers second, Above & Beyond’s unwavering commitment to their craft has fuelled a career that many electronic artists today might only dream of: four acclaimed studio albums, 14 compilation albums, two ‘acoustic’ albums, and a stand-alone album for yoga and meditation – not to mention innumerable club cuts and dance remixes.

    • Luttrell announces his highly-anticipated album ‘Life at Full Speed’ luttrell-2024-feature-oz-edm

San Francisco native Eric Luttrell announces his highly-anticipated third studio album ‘Life at Full Speed’, released on October 11 on Anjunadeep. The album announcement is paired with the release of lead single ‘Make U Happy’. First breaking into electronic music as part of the OWSLA-affiliated trio The M Machine, Eric embarked on his solo journey in 2016 with the acclaimed ‘Need You EP’. This was followed by Anjunadeep favourites such as the ‘Generate EP’ and ‘Intergalactic Plastic’, the latter of which was named Hottest Record In The World by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. His musical progression continued with the launch of two studio albums, ‘Intro Clouds’ and ‘Lucky Ones’, as well as the captivating trilogy EP series ‘Music For My Memories’. Luttrell’s body of work has amassed over 100 million streams to date. Written over the past two years, ‘Life at Full Speed’ represents a new chapter for Eric. Becoming a father last year profoundly shifted his perspective on life and its purpose; and the album represents the ethos of embracing life to its fullest and seizing every moment. Three of the album’s 13 tracks, ‘Sunshine’, ‘Space’ and ‘Sunshine Song’ have already been released and supported by BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM Chill, and they, alongside the bouncy new single ‘Make U Happy’, set the tone for this warm and uplifting album. A standout feature of ‘Life At Full Speed’ is the way in which Eric weaves his own voice into his productions, as well as vocals from Canadian artist Molly Moonwater on single ‘Something Right’. In marrying the melodic productions for which he’s become known with more overtly vocal moments that aren’t as commonplace in his catalogue, Luttrell promises to delight and surprise any listener of this album. ‘Life at Full Speed’ is set for release on October 11 on Anjunadeep.

    • Sultan + Shepard release new studio album ‘Forever, Now’ Sultan + Shepard release new studio album ‘Forever, Now’ - OZ EDM

Sultan + Shepard release new studio album ‘Forever, Now’ on Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint. Sultan + Shepard are pleased to present their new studio album, ‘Forever, Now,’ available to stream today from Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint. “When we began working on ‘Forever, Now,’ the world had started to open up from the pandemic, we had begun touring again, and it felt like the great thawing of pent-up feelings and emotions were being released from us, and also all over the world. Some of these feelings were beautiful and emotional, others darker and messier. Most of this album was written during breaks between shows when we’re back in our studio but we still had this sense of energy moving, flowing, and being allowed to trickle into new places with new feelings.  Not surprisingly, a lot of the music leaned towards more joyful energy, bursting with positive emotions while most of the lyrics and vocals we had recorded with our collaborators were asking deeper questions about longing, separation, and time passing. It was a time of growth and positivity amidst general change and often chaos for the world but also for us personally. The concept of “Forever, Now” grew out of this familiar feeling of being grounded in a place of creativity despite being in new places sonically or physically. We realized that wherever we went, there we were. Things were always moving and changing, as we ourselves were too. But through the act of being sincere in expressing our emotions, a sense of being in just the right place or hitting just the right note would often arise.” – Sultan + Shepard After a chance meeting at an after-hours club in Montreal in 2002, Ossama Al Sarraf and Ned Shepard quickly discovered they had a natural musical chemistry. They began collaborating on original songs and remixes, signing their first song to John Digweed’s Bedrock label. From collaborations with revered EDM artists such as Dillon Francis and Tiësto to remixes for major pop acts like Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and Madonna, the duo established themselves as one of dance music’s leading partnerships. The next decade saw them tour around the world including stops at major festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC. During this time they were recognized by their peers for major accolades including a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording for their remix of Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven”; the SOCAN Music award for International Song of the Year for “Bad” (the multi-platinum single which they co-wrote and produced alongside David Guetta); and two Juno Award nominations for Best Dance Recording. Most recently the duo have returned to their melodic house and progressive roots, signing with Lane 8 and his label This Never Happened and launching a radio show Dialekt Radio. They have released multiple singles and EPs, collaborating with Jon Hopkins Angela McCluskey, Shallou, Le Youth, and others. In 2021 they released their second album “Something, Everything” to critical acclaim. Their new album “Forever, Now” is available now on This Never Happened.. ‘Forever, Now’ Tracklist 1. • Luude Launches ‘No Instruction’ Label + New Single ‘Fun In The Sun’ Luude Launches 'No Instruction' Label + New Single 'Fun In The Sun' - OZ EDM

Australian breakout drum and bass producer Luude today announces the launch of his new imprint No Instruction in partnership with his long standing management company Cloak, distributed by Virgin Music. The new imprint is about creating legitimate moments for artists using the live platform and global network of the team. Luude shares “we want to throw good parties, put out records we like from people we like and we want to have a good crack at doing all those things as best and big as possible.”  To mark the debut, No Instruction presents its first release, ‘Fun In The Sun,’ by Luude & Perth based producer Harry Bee. The left field club heater has quickly become one of Luude’s most requested songs of the year, with videos of the record posted across ID pages amassing over 3 million views and generating widespread anticipation. The track perfectly encapsulates the essence of No Instruction, it’s a bit weird and made for the dancefloor. Sharing his excitement about the release and the launch of the label, Luude shares “I’m really happy to be launching this imprint with a collab featuring one of my best mates from Australia – having an outlet to do things like this is sick. We’ve got some mental records coming from some of my favourite producers,  some parties around the world, we’re doing vinyl and just going back to doing things for the club, which is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.” Cloak, the management team behind No Instruction, emphasises the label’s mission to embrace creativity and innovation, “people told us this was a stupid idea, launching a new imprint by releasing a collab with one of Luude’s mates from back home – with some pretty high-profile collaborations that could have been first. But being able to do things like this is what this label is about. The fact that it’s been one of the most requested tunes of the year for Luude is testament to the fact that buzzing records can come from anywhere.” In addition to its innovative approach to music, No Instruction will launch with a series of underground parties across the UK, Europe and Australia throughout 2024. The inaugural event, a secret pop up party at a very coveted London location, will kick off on July 31st, featuring performances by Luude, Bushbaby, Efan, Willo and Denham Audio. Australian producer Luude has firmly established himself on the global stage with back-to-back hits like ‘Down Under’ and ‘Big City Life,’ which have sold millions of copies and earned multi-platinum certifications worldwide. His achievements include an ARIA award for Best Dance Release, a nomination for the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist award, “Best International Artist” at the 2022 Drum and Bass Awards, 3x BBC Radio 1 Hottest Records, and multiple platinum, gold, and silver certifications. Luude’s relentless touring and dynamic performances, including his recent sold out run with Chase & Status across Australia and New Zealand, have cemented his status as one of Australia’s most in-demand artists. Luude & Harry Bee’s new single ‘Fun In The Sun’ is out now on No Instruction. Follow No Instruction across socials for info on all upcoming shows and releases.

    • Cercle Introduce 360° Concert Series with Immersive “Odyssey” Concept Cercle Introduce 360° Concert Series with Immersive "Odyssey" Concept - OZ EDM

Cercle Odyssey to Offer a No-Phone Experience for Deeper Audience Connection The esteemed Parisian production company and event organizer, Cercle, is set to unveil an innovative concert series under the title “Cercle Odyssey.” Imagine entering a vast concert arena where you are encircled by enormous screens. These screens, towering up to 40 feet high and stretching as far as 180 feet, envelop the audience with high-definition visuals that harmonize seamlessly with the music. This setup is designed to make attendees feel as though they are part of the performance, rather than mere spectators. To enhance audience engagement and foster genuine connections, Cercle Odyssey will implement a strict no-phone policy. This decision aligns with a growing movement within the electronic dance music community, where many prominent artists and organizations are advocating for increased presence and interaction during live events. Scheduled to debut in 2025, Cercle Odyssey aims to bring its unique, immersive experience to dance music enthusiasts worldwide. According to Billboard, this 360° spectacle promises to draw fans closer to the distinctive experiences that Cercle is known for offering. “My current obsession is to create the shortest connection between the music played by the artist, the video narrative that we will present live on the screens, and the audience’s emotions,” said Derek Barbolla, Founder of Cercle. “I want to connect these three things together at the deepest level and I believe this is still underdeveloped in the entertainment industry. If, by the end of a Cercle Odyssey show, I see people on the dance floor literally moved to tears, then I will consider it a success.” For more information about Cercle Odyssey, watch the video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMoaFnrCQQA
