After a stunning 5,000-person sold-out Ministry of Sound Classical show in Adelaide last weekend, TMRW Music and Ministry of Sound are thrilled to announce the spectacular orchestral performance will be going national in 2022. In addition to the already announced show in Perth on 11th December, Ministry of Sound Classical will be taking in Melbourne, Gold Coast and Darwin in 2022, with shows in Sydney, Hunter Valley and Brisbane to be announced soon, as well as encore performances in Adelaide and Perth. Ministry of Sound Classical delivers a stunning session of spine-tingling moments as you relive the most magical moments of dance music history surrounded by music lovers, reimagined by an orchestra and incredible live vocals.
Ministry of Sound Classical will take place in Melbourne on 9th April, 2022 at the summer season activation venue Reunion Park, celebrating under a big top at Yarra City’s iconic Burnley Circus Site with special guest vocalists Zoë Badwi, Ben Woolner from SAFIA, ‘Dreams’ vocalist Reigan and Karina Chavez, supported by Touch Sensitive, Dirty South, Goodwill, John Course and more. The Gold Coast show at HOTA on 22nd April features guest vocalists Miss Connie, Danny Harley (The Kite String Tangle) and Reigan, supported by Sneaky Sound System, Touch Sensitive, John Course and more. And finally, the Darwin event on 11th June will also feature guest vocalists Miss Connie, Ben Woolner and Reigan, supported by Sneaky Sound System, Touch Sensitive and John Course, taking place at the Darwin Amphitheatre on the Queen’s Birthday Weekend.
Ministry of Sound Classical features an all-new set list with the most loved tracks from the biggest decades of dance music, right through to today. Well-loved classics from Robert Miles, Underworld, Cafe del Mar, Moby, Laurent Garnier and Shapeshifter will take audiences to new heights, alongside a slew of freshly reinvented versions of Röyksopp, Robin S, Basement Jaxx and The Temper Trap to name but a few – even Darude and Fisher receive a spectacular classical reinvention!
