The world’s most renowned drum n bass act, Pendulum, parted ways in 2011. After worldwide recognition and sold out performances across the globe, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen left the group to form Knife Party.
Four years later, Swire and McGrillen have reunited with old band members El Hornet, KJ Sawka, and Peredur ap Gwynedd for a very special performance at England’s V Festival.
Yesterday, Knife Party Twitter page mysteriously tweeted that its members were at the festival, but not scheduled for a Knife Party set. Minutes before Pendulum’s set started, Swire revealed that he was joining Pendulum on stage for the first time in four years.
The on-stage reunion comes after Swire announced in late 2014 that the group had begun producing a new album.
We're at @vfestival today, we're not booked so why would we be here ? ?
