After last rocking Australian shores in September 2018, Skrillex has been busy trialing new sounds and IDs for his 2019 return. The popular artist has been dropping an insane amount of music in the past few weeks. He has also been releasing some great collaborations with artists such as Ed Sheeran and Troyboi.
Speculation of a Skrillex EP release swirled in the news earlier this week – and it’s now been confirmed. Skrillex has dropped his two-track Show Tracks EP alongside collaborators Alvin Risk and Beam.
The EP, which is comprised of two tracks “Fuji Opener” and “Mumbai Power,” is sure to satisfy fans of who’ve been following his sets for the last several months.
“Fuji Opener” marks Skrillex and Alvin Risk‘s first collaboration in five years since their chart-topping 2014 dubstep offering “Try It Out.” The second track, “Mumbai Power,” sees Skrillex swap the heavy basslines for big, melodic chords and sweeping soundscapes alongside Beam.
