Slander & NGHTMRE
The Atom
Teaming up with touring giant Insomniac Events, NGHTMRE and Slander created one of the most memorable stage designs of recent times.
To celebrate their joint “Gud Vibrations” tour, selected shows from the tour featured a stage design called “the atom”. Towering over the crowd, the elevated booth featured enormous lighting truss rings which featured a range of lights and LED panels.
The atom rings also featured mechanical controls to tilt and move vertically – all controlled by the shows visual team. While the Atom was initially debuted at the Hollywood Palladium in 2016, the Atom version 1.0 was replaced by a march larger and advanced version 2.0 in 2017 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino.
