The smash collaborative single and fan favorite from Seven Lions, Wooli, and Trivecta – “Island” – was the first release on Seven Lions‘ own Ophelia Records in 2019. Now, it gets a handful of remixes, taking the melodic dubstep banger in a slew of different directions.

Au5, Blastoyz, Sullivan King, Dimibo, and TYNAN have all taken Nevve’s vocal on different paths, incorporating everything from psytrance to an energetic electric guitar driven cover, courtesy of Sullivan King, and everything in between.

      Trance Fans Rejoice, Dreamstate Festival is Coming Back to Australia! Dreamstate Australia, a festival dedicated exclusively to the trance music genre, will return to Australian shores in April 2023. Dreamstate Australia is a part of the Dreamstate brand, which is operated by the global event promoter Insomniac. Insomniac is famous for organizing some of the most massive music festivals, such as Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Beyond Wonderland, and Nocturnal Wonderland. When news broke earlier this week of Transmission Sydney 2023, Armin van Buuren was revealed to headline the monster trance event set to take place in February 2023. Armin van Buuren is coming to Fortitude Music Hall February 10th, for his only solo Australian show.     • Excision and Wooli unveil new collab ‘Titans’ excision-wooli-titans-feature

      Excision and Wooli join forces once again for “Titans,” the highly anticipated follow-up to their hit collaboration “Lockdown.” In 2019, before the pandemic was even a concern, Excision and Wooli joined forces for their collaborative EP, “Evolution.” The EP featured four tracks, including the opening track “Lockdown.” Fast forward over three years later, the duo has reunited for the highly-anticipated follow-up, “Titans.” While “Titans” is not the first collaboration between Excision and Wooli since “Lockdown,” it is a clear sequel, featuring some of the same samples (check out 2:30). With this release, the duo veered more towards bass house rather than dubstep, creating a highly energetic and enjoyable experience that has been receiving a positive response at recent live shows.       Subtronics’ 24-track album ‘ANTIFRACTALS’ receives huge praise and excitement from fans. After much anticipation, Subtronics has dropped his album ‘ANTIFRACTALS’ on his label Cyclops Recordings. The album features 14 remixes from top artists such as Kai Wachi, Wooli, Grabbitz, Kompany, among others, and includes 10 VIP versions of Subtronics’ own tracks. The release comes after the announcement of his North American ANTIFRACTAL Tour in September. The 24-track album ‘ANTIFRACTALS’ is yet another impressive addition to Subtronics’ extensive body of work, following the release of his previous album FRACTALS. Known for his tireless work ethic and consistent output, the Philadelphia-based producer continues to support the underground music scene by featuring up-and-coming artists on tour and at shows like Cyclops Cove. His dedication and passion for his craft is evident throughout the album’s runtime. In January of 2022, Subtronics dropped his debut album ‘FRACTALS’ which came in at #4 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album Chart, and had dedicated billboards in Times Square and Los Angeles. The album coincided with his massive 50+ date sell-out national headline FRACTAL TOUR, which featured state-of-the-art production and ground-breaking visuals.       Skrillex is releasing a double album in 2023, which is sure to make a big impact in the dance music world. On New Year’s Day, Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny Moore, posted an announcement on social media about the release of two albums, abbreviated as “QFF/DGTC 23,” in 2023. The next day, he shared a preview of the project’s first single, titled “Rumble,” a collaboration with Fred again.. and Flowdan. The single has a tense and ominous sound. The announcement of the album release was met with great excitement from the electronic music community. Tchami wrote, “2023 looking great already,” and other bass artists such as Subtronics, Ray Volpe, Peekaboo, and tk expressed their excitement with exclamatory phrases like “HYPERVENTILATING,” “H O L Y S H I T B A L L S,” and “i’m f—ing WEEPING.” Missy Elliot, who previously collaborated with Skrillex on an unreleased track in 2018, also expressed her excitement. These albums will be Skrillex’s first studio albums since the release of “Recess” in 2014, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Skrillex has continued to have success in the music industry, winning two Grammys with Diplo as part of their duo, Jack Ü, in 2016. Diplo has described Skrillex as “probably the best producer of electronic music” he has ever met and praised his ability to transform any sound into something unique.       Seven Lions and Blastoyz reunite for their second collab “Reason For Fighting”. Since its live debut in 2020, the track has become one of the most highly anticipated releases on the label and follows their latest collab “After Dark” off Seven Lions’ Start Again EP. Featuring three powerful drops, “Reason For Fighting” weaves through psytrance and melodic bass to blur the lines between a mainstage anthem and underground heavy-hitter with triumphant vocals from ERV ELLO. From Ultra Music Festival to EDC Mexico, the track has marked showstopping moments at festivals around the country over the past few months.       Abraxis, Seven Lions’ psytrance alter alias with the duo Dimibo, is releasing their first single in over a year and their fourth ever release with the single “Black Rainbow”. The track is a fan favorite, known for its cryptic dialogue and multiple high energy, show-stopping drops. “Black Rainbow” releases the day before the third installment of Seven Lions’ festival Chronicles at the Gorge Amphitheatre, where they’ll be playing a special costumed set with new show visuals to over 10,000 fans in attendance. Abraxis is a conceptual psytrance project formed by melodic bass powerhouse Seven Lions (Jeff Montalvo) and Washington based psytrance duo Dimibo (Filip Pankovcin & Loch Stimpson). They first worked together in 2017 on their remix of Excision’s dubstep hit The Paradox, and over the next two years they performed numerous back to back sets at festivals and clubs across the country.
